    Grocery stores are great places to meet women – they gotta buy food, right? And it offers a great opportunity for you to seem like a helpless male who needs a little feminine wisdom to get him through.

    Here’s the plan: Go up to a woman who’s browsing meat (or looking at fruit or reading labels on laundry detergent or whatever). For instance, if it’s meat, look over the meat, too, picking some up and reading the labels then setting it back. Turn to her and say, "I’m hopeless at this, I can never pick good steaks. It’s always too tough or too fatty or just not fresh. Can you help me out?" Women love giving advice, and you just gave her a golden opportunity she can’t refuse. She’ll give some tips. Ask her questions, like what color to look for, if you should buy leaner cuts, etc. When she’s done and you’ve selected some steaks or a package of hamburger or whatever, say, "Thanks so much, I really appreciate this. This may be the first good meal I’ve had in ages. Let me repay you – let me make you dinner. You already know I’ve got good steak." She’ll be a little taken by surprise, but very pleased with the attention. Say, "By the way, I’m Doug. And what can I call you?" She may accept the dinner invitation and if so, great, get the number and start planning that menu! But since she doesn’t really know you well, she may hesitate to go to your house for a meal. So if she seems a bit reluctant, say, "You know, I know you really don’t know me and might be shy about coming to my place for dinner so soon. So how about I take you out for a nice meal, and then you can see what a harmless guy I am, and maybe later I’ll cook you that dinner. Come on, you’ve got nothing to lose and you’ll gain a free dinner at the restaurant of your choice. Besides, I owe you. Your advice has saved me from a lifetime of eating bad cuts of meat. You’ve got to let me pay you back." She’ll be flattered and laughing at this point, and most likely writing down those digits for you!

    If you met talking over fruit or laundry detergent, you obviously can’t offer to cook that up for her (well, you could, but you’ll score crazy points instead of brownie points). But you can still thank her and offer to pay her back by going for a cup of coffee or dinner sometime. Play up how she’s saved you from wearing horribly dingy clothes by helping with that detergent or saved you from catching God knows what kind of rare tropical disease imparted by eating squishy, bad fruit. Make a joke, get her laughing, and get those digits! Supermarket scores are great, because women love it when they think a man who was just minding his business, doing shopping, saw her and was so taken that he couldn’t help but make a move. Female vanity has its uses, fellas!

    Why I decided to quit smoking….

    I’ve been smoking for roughly 2 years before deciding to quit 2 months ago. Each day I’m still successful at not picking up the cancer stick.The hardest part for me is going to the bars or clubs and seeing people smoke. It’s also particularly hard when I have a drink to not want to pick up a smoke.The inner demons are always calling when I have a few drinks. Miraculously I’ve been good and not succumb to those demons.

    Watching sexy people on tv shows and movies smoke is also so tempting…lol

    I remember watching basic instinct when I was a little boy and thinking how hot Sharon Stone looked as she smoked cigarettes. Especially that interrogation scene with the leg crossing.Who could forget!

    I often think that if cigarettes weren’t so glamorized in the media, by celebrities and "cool" people how much easier it would be to not even pick up the habit. I know a lot of guys would agree.The media plays a HUGE role in why young people pick up the habit.

    Getting back to the title of this article, I decided to quit smoking mainly because it was taking 50% away from my appearance. My skin was dull, not as vibrant as it once was, I had ity bitty , barely noticeable fine lines(but VERY noticeable to me) appearing under my eyes. I also know that the smoking was causing me to get dark circles and under eye puffiness.

    For months before quitting I was pressing myself, every pack I bought I’d tell myself"OK, this is my last pack" and then I’d go to a bar the next day or have a drink, go to a casino,and BAM, I ended up with more cigs.

    For me, "tomorrow I’ll quit" just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

    I’ll keep on saying that till I’m all wrinkled, looking like absolute crap and wishing I was smart enough years and years back to quit, before all this wreckage had happened.

    I really didn’t want that for myself.  I could imagine the depression that would have gone alone with looking like that.

    The point I’m trying to prove is, the negatives of smoking FAR outshines the benefits of quitting.The short-lived nicotine addiction effects just aren’t worth it.

    In quitting I had to distance myself from a lot of people, wait, let me rephrase that, in SUCCESSFULLY quitting, I had to distance,refrain and stay away from a lot of things that were the cause of me wanting to pick up a cigarette.

    My healthy skin glow is back, I can breathe so much more air in, I can work out incredibly faster with much more energy, I just feel amazing, healthy and ALIVE.

    It’s hard to say I’ll never pick up a cigarette, cuz you never know when a stressful event will enter your life again or certain anxieties and you just reach for a pack again, but seriously, I hope, honestly hope to never pick up the habit again.

    Who wants to look like shit anyways? And if you don’t think you look like crap,think again, cuz if your not looking like crap now from smoking, eventually, very eventually, your looks will deteriorate at an alarming rate.

    Education helped me a lot to decide to finally quit smoking also.Reading online from other quitters, reading about the benefits of quitting,etc. Doing this works, cuz suddenly you get enlightened about what your actually doing to your body and the benefits you gain immediately by quitting the nasty habit.

    How to Tell If Someone’s Lying Just From Looking At Their Hands…

    It’s a fact: other people’s lies make our lives more difficult. They distort and twist the truth, con us into believing things never happened, or took place when they shouldn’t have. There are literally thousands and thousands of ways people’s untruths and falsehoods taint and make living our daily lives more of an effort than it really should be.

    So what can we do about it?

    How can we put a stop to lies the second we hear them and reveal the real truth, the actual facts, the exact situation?

    The answer is natural lie detection – techniques, strategies and knowledge that give a person the rare and invaluable ability to separate the real from the fake and always know what to believe and what to question.

    So, what does it consist of? Well, natural lie detection uses no machines, test papers, no video or audio recordings. It is, as the name suggests, a science based on human perception and skill.

    It has 3 main components. They are the interpretation and analysis of: body language, psychology, and verbal communication. By having a deep and expert knowledge of all three, you can become capable of spotting 99 out of 100 lies, whether they’re spoken over the phone, in person or even over the internet or via text message. Although learning these special techniques isn’t difficult when you have the time and proper reading material, it does require more space to explain than this short article allows. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t go over one way many liars give themselves away. This collection of principles falls under the body language category of natural lie detection and focuses solely on how a dishonest person uses, or avoids using, their hands when they’re being deceitful. There are 3 main hand-related signals of deceptiveness.

    Signal #1: HAND GESTURE FREQUENCY. People use their hands to visually illustrate and emphasise their statements – it’s a way of painting an abstract picture in the air to better help the person or people they’re talking to understand the concepts being covered. When someone lies, however, their mind works differently to how it normally operates. Their thought process is dominated by the act of being dishonest convincingly and they therefore tend to change how they use their hands. The first change you should look for is in how often they gesticulate with their hands while talking. The majority of people, when they lie, lessen the amount of movements they make with their hands because they subconsciously want to restrict the volume of information being given to the person they’re lying to – out of fear of saying too much, either verbally or physically, and getting caught out or questioned. More proficient liars, or people who have rehearsed or planned a lie before telling it, actually tend to increase the frequency of their hand gestures. They’ll slice the air more with the blade of their hand or point their finger and clench their fists more frequently to illustrate and back-up what they’re saying. So, in short, look for a marked difference between the amount of hand gesticulations a person uses when in normal, day-to-day, obviously truthful conversation and when you suspect they may be lying to you or have a good reason to twist or otherwise alter the truth.

    Signal #2: HAND-TO-FACE ACTIONS. The second signal you should look out for is an increase in the number of hand-to-face actions a person makes when you think they could be lying. The main reason they touch their faces more often when lying than when telling the truth is because of the internal social pressure they’re feeling, which leaks out in the form of hand-to-face actions. Look for moments when the person momentarily covers their mouth with their hand or fingers. This is a subconscious attempt to stifle themselves and physically block the lie from leaving their lips – they do this to futilely try to block their falsehood from reaching you and thereby decrease the chance of getting caught and lessen their feeling of guilt. However, many people are on some level aware of how mouth covers may be interpreted (as a sign that they’re lying) so instead try to camouflage the action by instead lightly touching their nose (which indirectly covers their mouth with their hand). Another reason many liars touch their noses is because of the increased blood-flow that occurs in its deep tissues, which creates an almost imperceptible tingle that, although not consciously felt and reacted to, causes the liar to unwittingly touch their nose for a moment. So, always keep an eye out for increased hand-to-face actions, especially those that cover a person’s mouth in some way or another.

    Signal #3: THE HAND SHRUG. When people don’t know the answer to something or want to convey the messages: "I’m not sure," or "I don’t care," they often lift and quickly drop their shoulders in a shrugging motion. A variation of shoulder shrugging is the hand shrug: a quick lifting and dropping of one or both upturned hands. Like shrugging with the shoulders, it’s a way of expressing a type of diminished responsibility in regards to an issue or topic – and that’s why liars tend to overuse the hand shrug while being dishonest. Instead of using it only to accompany words that express a feeling of uncertainty or ambivalence – the way people do when being honest – liars use the hand shrug alongside verbal statements that don’t relate to "not knowing" or "not caring." They do this subconsciously to distance themselves from the lie they’re telling.

    Look for these 3 signs of potential dishonesty whenever you suspect someone might be lying and you’ll be a step closer to becoming a true master of deceit detection – a human lie detector.

    I have personally followed this plan for well over a year now and the results have been phenomenal. Here are some SOLID tips for achieving that sculpted jawline you’ve always dreamed of.

    1-Diet.This should be a key factor in acquiring and maintaining a sculpt jawline. Try to avoid heavy calorie consumption. If you simply maintained a 2000 calorie diet(even better a 1700 calorie diet) you’d be well on your way to a sculpted jawline.

    Want to lose up to 14 LBS in 2 weeks?? Well then follow the South Beach diet for a fast induction to weight-loss so you can clearly see your sculpted chiseled jawline more quickly! Having this diet in place is a major stepping stone in achieving your jawline in no time!

    Some women are just out there waiting to be hit on, and they’re sending signals. You just have to pick up on the signals, then striking up a conversation is a piece of cake because that’s what the woman was waiting for from anybody. It might as well be you!

    Go someplace where people hang out, like a bar or bookstore. If there’s a woman at the bar who’s just sort of looking bored, who keeps looking around the room or even getting up to walk around the room, that woman is looking for action. Go up to her and comment on something about the place, like "Hi. It sure is quiet in here tonight." Or "Hi, I can’t believe how packed this place is." She was just waiting for someone to talk to, and this is all she’ll need to be off and running. Let her lead and follow along! Maybe throw in a comment like, "What’s a beautiful woman like you doing sitting here all alone?" Don’t say that at first, because women hear cheesy lines like that all the time. But if you say it a few minutes after conversation has started, it erases any doubt from her mind as to whether you’re hitting on her or you’re just someone who’s making idle conversation but not looking to meet. Give her the cheesy pick-up line that includes a compliment – and women love compliments! – and she’ll know what you’re after.

    At a bookstore, check out the chicks over by the magazine racks. If there’s one who just keeps browsing titles, idly picking up a mag and flipping through the pages, all the while looking around to check out the other people there – that’s a gal just waiting for someone to take notice of HER. Do it, and you’ll find a woman ready and willing to talk to you – and probably hoping you’ll ask for her number!

    Just go up to her, tell her the magazine she’s reading looks interesting, or that you already read that and there’s a great article in there, or (if it’s a woman’s magazine) that you’ve been tempted to read "Cosmo" or whatever it is just to see what kind of stuff those mags tell women. Ask her if she thinks men would find any useful information about women in there. She’ll be off and running with stories of how silly the articles are, or how they might be interesting to men. Talk a while, and then ask her to sit down for coffee to chat more. Then ask for her number. She was looking to meet, so she’ll be more than willing to hand over those digits!
