There are many guys who watch what they eat and exercise yet never see any REAL results. Why is this? In this article we’ll take a look at some common mistakes you must take note of in order to successfully lose weight. So here goes!
1. Do NOT use starvation tactics! This will only make you gain weight in the long term.Your body is like a fuel-burning furnace. You need to feed it food every 3-4 hours for your metabolism to stay tweaked and optimized to burn calories.
2. Do NOT skip breakfast! It really is the most important meal of the day and with good reason.So much that people who skip breakfast are actually 5 times more likely to be fat.
3. Do NOT ignore exercise. Don’ get the wrong idea that you can eat whatever you want if you exercise, this simply isn’t true.
4. Perform breathing exercises.These will aid in digestion of food more properly. Try inhaling as much as you can for 4 seconds, keep it in for up to 16 seconds, then exhale as long as you slowly can(about 8 seconds). This helps regulate bloodflow also throughout your body and this will help you eliminate food and fat-causing toxins quicker.
5. Eat slowly. Don’t just scarf down your meal like a pig. Practice proper chewing.Your meal will last longer and you’ll feel fuller with less food. Not to mention you’ll digest food quicker also. Proper chewing makes it easier for the body to digest food.
6. Avoid sugary drinks! Replace this with simple water. You’d be amazed how many calories you are saving here. Water is essential to proper digestion.It also helps transport important nurtients throughout your body which is needed to efficiently burn calories. Americans drink 25% of their calories, so cut down drastically on this if you are serious about weight loss.
7. Get proper sleep.The less you sleep the higher your glucose levels increase. This can signal overeating. Do whatever you can to get a proper 7-9 hours of sleep daily.
8. Avoid refined and processed foods. This means avoiding fast food chains and instead trying to consume real, organic foods instead. Fruits and veggies will by your best ally for weight loss success!
